アクア・アイランド・コロニー オアフ Please be advised that effective September 27, 2010, the Aqua Island Colony will be closing the swimming pool and hot tub on the 6th floor for repairs and upgrades. The work is expected to take approximately 3 months and they are hoping to have a beautiful new pool area in time for the holiday season. There will be some noise during this renovation period. Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The surrounding recreational deck area will remain open and will be available for sun bathing. アストン・マウイ・カアナパリ・ヴィラズ マウイ The Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas is undergoing a $1.6 million lobby enhancement with an expected completion date of September 15, 2010. To minimize the impact of the project to guests the property will take the following precautions: work areas will continue to be cordoned off from view; the front desk and activities desk will remain in the clearly marked unit adjacent to the lobby; cold beverages, snacks and cold towels will be provided to guests upon arrival; both the complimentary daily coffee service and the complimentary weekly Mai Tai Party will continue throughout the renovation period. | 2010-09-16 |

フェアモント・ケア・ラニ・ホテル マウイ The Fairmont Kea Lani Resort has announced work on enhancements which will be done this fall. Complete renovations to all three swimming pools are scheduled to take place August 30 - October 28, 2010. All hotel departments will remain open during their normal business hours including the front desk, bell desk, concierge, retail stores, and Spa Kea Lani. During the pool renovations, at least one swimming pool will always be open. The waterslide and remaining pool(s) will be closed and blocked off to allow the crew to complete their work and to ensure safety for all guests. Tasteful, temporary enclosures will surround all work areas. Measures are being taken to minimize the level of noise by installing sound-dampening booths. Work for the pool enhancement is scheduled 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. There will be no remodeling taking place on weekends. One restaurant will always be open for breakfast and lunch during the renovation. Nicks Fishmarket and Ko Restaurant will both remain open for dinner. In addition, Caffe Ciao Bakery and Deli and Luana Lounge will remain open and 24 hour in-suite dining will be available. Any pool that is open will have food and beverage service available. Phase I, August 30 - October 7, 2010: Adults only pool, lower lagoon pool, and the waterslide will be closed. Please note the majority of the noise and disruption will take place August 30 - September 3, 2010. Phase II, October 8 - October 28, 2010: Phase II consists of a few final touches surrounding the upper lagoon pool. Guests visiting during Phase II will be the first to enjoy the newly enhanced adults only pool and lower lagoon pool. グランド・ハイアット・カウアイ・カウアイ・リゾート&スパ カウアイ This Hawaiian classic style resort will undergo a guest room renovation from April 2010 through March 2011. The renovation will be isolated by building to mitigate any disturbance for guests. ハイアット・リージェンシー・マウイ・リゾート&スパ マウイ The Hyatt Regency Maui will begin a $10 million room renovation in late August, 2010 with an expected completion date of December 15, 2010. The hotel reports that the refurbishment will not impact any of their guests as it will be completed by floor causing no disturbance to customers. In addition, Japengo Restaurant and Sushi Bar will be completed in December, 2010 (formerly known as Cascades). ルネッサンス・ワイレア・ビーチ・リゾート マウイ The owners of the ルネッサンス・ワイレア・ビーチ・リゾート announced plans for the demolition of the property to make way for the building of an opulent condominium hotel under the Baccarat flag. The 345 room 7 story resort will be replaced with a lower-density cluster of 13 buildings ranging from 2 to 4 stories high, with a total of 193 units ranging in size from one-bedroom to four-bedrooms. The plan is to close the ルネッサンス・ワイレア・ビーチ・リゾート in early September, 2007. The demolition would follow, with construction of the new Baccarat property to start by the end of the year. | 2010-12-31 |
シェラトン・ワイキキ・リゾート オアフ The Sheraton Waikiki has completed its $187 million renovation and revitalization project. This rebith gives them the perfect opportunity to add a world-class guest amenity to the property with the creation of a Sheraton Club Lounge, which is also being incorporated into other Sheraton properties across the nation. The new Club Lounge will be located on the current site of the Twist at Hanohano, taking advantage of the spectacular views from 30 stories above Waikiki Beach. Sheraton Waikiki will continue to focus on its award-winning dining options at Kai Market and RumFire. Due to this change, Twist at Hanohano will close on October 1, 2010. The opening date of the new Lounge will be advised at a later date. The hours of operation will be from 6am to 10am and from 4pm to 8pm. A nice continental breakfast will be served in the morning and appetizers in the evening along with alcoholic beverages for a fee.
